As a key note to maintain law and order, the government has initiated so many actions.public also lend their support to government by producing complients against the DMK persons.Major among them is land aquition cases. jaya addressed that "necessary action can be taken if their mistakes are proven",and formed an department for dealing the land acqution cases..Mighty changes also been made in police & administative departments..jaya starts his account with "pottu"Suresh .The Madurai Rural police arrested Pottu suresh @ suresh Babu a close confidante of Union Minister M.K. Alagiri, under the Goondas Act. three others, including Madurai urban district secretary G. Thalapathi, on land grab charges. The complaint was that they had allegedly forced a couple to sell their 5.14 acres of land in Tirumangalam to persons close to them in the DMK. Based on confessions, the police registered cases under various Sections of the Indian Penal Code. Even as the police were gathering information on the illegal acts, petitioners complained of threats by Suresh Babu and his accomplices.
Meanwhile, the police registered a fresh case of land grab against “Pottu” Suresh and five others on Sunday based on a complaint from an auditor. The charge was that the accomplices of Suresh insisted on terms that were not agreeable to the seller over an immovable property near here. Despite expressing unwillingness, some of them allegedly threatened the seller, an investigation officer said.
Further, the sustained threats to the complainant that “Pottu” Suresh and his accomplices would finish him off resulted in detention of Suresh Babu under the Goondas Act.
Then the Ex-agricultural minister Mr.veerapandi Arumugam comes next to his list.
The former Agriculture Minister is listed as accused No.1 in two cases of land grabbing, one in which he allegedly evicted over 23 people from a colony in the district to take over the land and the other involving property worth over Rs. 85 crore in the area.
The second case against Mr. Arumugam and 12 others was filed under various IPC Sections including 147 (punishment for rioting) besides Tamil Nadu Public Properties Damages Act 1994.
In his July 22 order, Justice G. Rajasuria said Mr. Arumugam should be produced before the Salem Judicial Magistrate on July 27.
The judge said for obtaining bail, the former DMK Minister should secure two sureties and a bond for Rs. 25,000.
On July 19, three persons were arrested in Salem in connection with the two cases.Mr Arumugam came to CCB office along with his supporters trooped behind him in 80 cars. The police had a tough time to control the mob.
The next one along with them is former police commisionor jaffer seth..
Tyrannical Jaffer Seth was trapped by police in the case of getting land from the house development board and builded a house along with the private constucors.The anti-bribary department officials raided the house of jafferseth and the secretery rajamaanikam.Jafferseth is presently working as a additional DGP for mandabam refuge's camp.So many cases(Telophe Trapping case) was filed against him on the past DMK period.But to his powerful post and his close with DMK higher officials police can't able to take any proper actions against him
The case was filled by shankar the Ex anti-bribary force officer.he compiled that the land was allocated to mr.jaffer seth registered in name of his wife mrs parveen jaffer and constructed the building along with the land mark builders. The case was heared by TN Secretery and ordered DGP to invesitage the case and DGP reffered the case to anti-bribary force department.They vitnessed that the land was registered with psudo documes as his wife as a social reformer, and 5 more cases also filed against him...
With in a week three cases was filed for landgrabing against the persons in the superiour posts.. The government should take necessary actions if their cases was proven is the choice of the public.
